The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Holds the Second Meeting on Improving Reporting Mechanisms
The Office of the Deputy Attorney General (DAG) for Finance and Administrative Affairs on Monday, May 29, 2017, held a meeting to improve AGO reporting mechanisms.
Mr. Wahiduddin Arghon, DAG for Finance and Administrative Affairs, Mohammad Farid Hasanyar, Director of Finance and Administration, Shah Mohammad Khpalwak, Director of Information and Public Relations, Jamshid Rasooly, AGO Spokesperson, representatives of General Directorate of Research and Studies, Statistics and Data Analysis section along with a representative from Justice Sector Support Program participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed reporting challenges and suggested solutions to overcome the issues and improve quality of AGO reports using better coordination and communication such as using email.
Not having an AGO Spokesperson position in the AGO Tashkil was one of the main issues raised. In addition, attendees also discussed lack of an explicit reporting policy at AGO. The participants provided solutions for current problems and challenges which will be considered for implementation over the short and long-term.
