Afghanistan Attorney General (AG) visits Juveniles’ Detention and Rehabilitation Center

The AG Saranpooh Mohammad Farid Hamidi visited Juveniles’ Detention and Rehabilitation Center (JDRC) to monitor the confines condition on March 17, 2018.

General Director of Juvenile Offences Prosecution, Mr. Mohammad Daud Afzali, AG office Director, Mr. Baktash Azizi, Mohammad Asad Safi, Director of AGO Decision Enforcement prosecution and some other AGO authorities companied AG in this visit.

The AG Mr. Mohammad Farid Hamidi ordered to the relevant authorities to execute the amnesty discount orders in shortest possible time.

In this visit, after evaluating the files of some of the confines, 10 people were under investigation and seven were released on the valid guarantee based on the court’s decision.

Also based on court’s decision, eight cases at the initial stage, 14 appeals cases and 23 cases at the full stage, were pleasing to the confines in order to benefit from the amnesty and discount order of the eighth of Sawr 1397 (April 28, 2018) the occasion of the victory of Afghanistan jihad.
