AGO and IDLO conduct Awareness program on Elimination of Violence against Women in Ministry of Education.

A one-day Awareness on Elimination of Violence against Women, was conducted for the Ministry of Education female staff. This program was conducted to employees of different departments of Ministry of Education by the Deputy Attorney General for Elimination of Violence against Women, Juvenile Offences and Human with technical support of International Development Law Organization (IDLO), on March 5, 2018.  Atifa Hurmat, Elimination of Violence manager stated that, most causes of Violence against Women are due to lack of public awareness from law specially law on elimination of violence against women. She added that “we struggle to conduct the awareness program to the women all over the country in governmental and non-governmental organizations”.

DAG for EVAW, Juvenile Offences and Human Rights try to increase women legal awareness and decrease the level of violence against them by conducting similar programs. These programs will be expanded to the provinces as well.
