AGO Builds Laghman Appellate Prosecution Office Building

Foundation stone of Laghman Appellate Prosecution Office was laid down by Wahid Uddin Arghun, Deputy Attorney General (DAG) for Finance and Administrative Affairs, Abdul Jabar Naimy, Governor of Laghman Province, Mohammad Wali Hashemi, Director of Laghman Appellate Prosecution Office and other officials of this province.

Mr. Naimy, Governor of Laghman Province welcomed Attorney General’s Office (AGO) delegates to Laghman Province and appreciated AGO’s contributions and achievements. 

He added, “I am delighted being part of this ceremony”.

He also expressed his satisfaction of the development in Laghman Province and promised to cooperate with AGO in ensuring justice and fighting corruption. Mr. Arghun also stated “Attorney General’s Office has the responsibility of investigating and litigating cases before referral to courts according to article 134 of Afghanistan Constitution and the role of this office is very important in ensuring justice and rule of law”.

The Foundation Stone for the Laghman Appellate Prosecution Office construction was laid down. The Appellate Prosecution Office is being built on a 603-square meter land in two stories considering modern standard facilities using the AGO operational budget.

The foundation stone for Kapisa Appellate Prosecution office was also laid down by AGO officials two days ago.
