Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Conducts the High Council Meeting

The Attorney General, Saranpooh Mohammad Farid Hamidi conducted AGO High Council Meeting on October 08, 2017.

At the beginning of the meeting, members discussed a proposal of the Prosecution Office on Monitoring Decision Enforcement. The proposal includes people who are travel banned based on provisions of law and instructions of authorized seniors.

The High Council decided that the mentioned proposal should be sent to the assigned legislation committee for empowerment of the content. Also emphasized that travel banning somebody is a humanitarian case; therefore, it should be focused with care. After evaluation by the assigned committee, the proposal will be presented to the High Council for approval.

The participants discussed the written draft of the Regulation on Privileges and Rights of Cadre grades of Prosecutors.

After review and necessary suggestions on principles, the High Council approved the mentioned draft and officially sent it to the Ministry of Justice for taking necessary legal actions.
