Attorney General’s Office(AGO) conducts High Council Meeting
On November 27, 2017, Attorney General (AG) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Saranpooh Mohammad Farid Hamidi chaired the AGO High Council meeting with the presence of Deputy Attorney Generals and some other members.
The Purpose of the meeting was discussing about the procedures, supplies and requirements of the AGO in the capital and provinces.
High Council members precisely discussed on various issues and current problems in the central, provincial, and district primary and appellate prosecution Offices.
They emphasized on increasing number of prosecutors in Afghanistan districts, and added that they should be facilitated with better space and working environment.
Serious monitoring will be put on facilities available to AGO staff in the capital, provinces and districts was another issue emphasized by the members of the High Council.
It was emphasized that the needs of the staff within professional and administrative sectors should be identified, consolidated and then resolved. The participants also emphasized on the quality of supplies and lubricants available to Attorney General's Office staff.
Need assessment and detailed statistics of requirements of AGO employees were among other important issues discussed and debated in the meeting.
Later, the members discussed about building capacity, anticipating and identifying necessary issues and gave their suggestions accordingly.
They emphasized to establish and design a comprehensive program in order to identify and record precise statistics of AGO lubricants’ supply.
At the end, they appreciated employees, especially those drivers who maintained their vehicles in good condition.
