3rd AGO Kankor was conducted

During the past three weeks, it is the third Kankor being conducted by the AGO. (600) graduates from Law and Sharia faculties had participated in this competition which was conducted in Internal and External Security Crimes Prosecution in order to recruit (30) employees. In the beginning of this program, HE Mohammad Farid Hameedi Attorney General called this competition a good opportunity for the candidates. He mentioned that the recruitment criteria in AGO is only the capabilities and knowledge of the candidates and no other factors will be determinative. He added, this program will also continue in the future for recruiting employees through open competition.

In the past three weeks, this is the third Kankor for recruitment of youth cadres in professional posts at the AGO in which hundreds of people have competed. Recruitment of people through this competition is considered as part of AGO’s reform program.

In the past few weeks, about one thousand Kankor applicants passed Civil and Military Prosecution. It is expected that the abilities and capacities of this office will be increased by recruitments through open competition.

Based on Law on Mandate and Tashkeel of AGO, only those people will be recruited as prosecutors who are graduated from Law and Sharia faculties. Besides, having three years of work experience in justice and judicial institutions and/or graduation from judicial stage program should be from amongst the terms of recruitment in professional posts of this office.
