Reconstruction of Three-Floor Building of Kabul General Detention Center

Based on a president’s decree, the reconstruction of a three-floor building of Kabul General Detention Center was completed and inaugurated On October 16, 2017.

Director of AGO Decision Enforcement Prosecution Office, Mohammad Asad Sapai, and General Manager of Kabul Detention Center participated in the opening ceremony.

It is worth mentioning that the building was provided to the employees, judges, prosecutors, directors, businessmen and senior officials.

The Kabul General Detention Center which has capacity of 1,659 detainees, is reconstructed by Ministry of Interior Affairs with a total cost of 1,000,000 AFN and has 48 two-bedrooms.
