Release of 19 Prisoners from Parwan Jail
Based on Decree No. 4 of Presidential Palace, 19 prisoners released from Parwan jail and imprisonment period of 10 others was reduced.
These prisoners were released on 3rd of June 2019 in the presence of Saranyar Abdul Hafeez Osuli, head of Parwan Attorney Office, members of the Implementation Commission from the Decrees of Presidential Palace based on Parwan and a number of in charges of Parwan Jail.
In this session, Mr. Osuli said that the mere goal of rule of law in a society is respecting to human values and dignity.
Osuli further added, “I hope, the time you spent in the jail, have reformed your manner and understand the value of living in freedom.”
He urged from the released prisoners to be careful of their individual and social responsibilities and adjust their life according to the law.
Recently the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has implemented a number of Decrees of Amnesty and Discount in Imprisonment Period of prisoners in capital and provinces.
