Kunduz Prosecution Office Investigated 116 Criminal Cases during Last Five Months
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with the observance of the enacted laws and by preserving its impartiality, independence, and respect to human dignity, human rights and citizens access to justice has registered and investigated 116 criminal cases via Kunduz Prosecution Office from 1st of Jawza till the end of Mizan 1398.
Lawsuit were filed for 90 cases and were sent to the court, which 72 of those cases were resolved and the rest are under process.
From those cases, seven cases were kept retained because of lack of necessary evidence and 20 other cases are under process of the Kunduz Prosecution Office.
Those includes 33 cases for killing and beating, 50 cases for smuggling of drugs, 17 cases for robbery, six cases for immoral ethics (sodomy and adultery) and the rest of 10 other cases are related to traffic crimes.
