Attorney General's Office recruited 100 professional employees
In order to recruit the professional vacant positions at AGO, 280 male and female participants participated in the exam.
Based on article 28 of Law on Mandate and Tashkeel of AGO, 100 of the 280 participants who met the criteria such as: holding Bachelor’s Degree in LLB and Political Science and/or Islamic Sharia, not being members of Political Parties, passing stage course or carrying 3 years of work experience and are 24 years of age, will be recruited for professional positions in different provinces. The exam was taken under supervision of elected joint committee. To ensure better transparency, 4 of these participants were introduced to exam committee in order to monitor the scoring process. The aforementioned exam was taken based on the AGO reform plan.
Mohammad Farid Hameedy, Attorney General of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan marked the exam transparent and added “relationship will not be preferred than criteria at AGO”.
Mr. Hameedy told the participants: “I hope the youths, who will be employed according to AGO framework, should be committed to their work, people and country. Fighting against corruptions is AGO's priority. We should speed up our efforts on fight against corruption.” He added: “People who refer to AGO aim to ensure justice and we are responsible to implement the law and ensure justice.
It is worth mentioning that hundreds of men and women participate in AGO exams for AGO Professional Vacancies. Recruiting new and youth staffs are part of administrative reform of the AGO.
