High Council Meeting of Attorney General’s Office was held
AGO High Council Meeting was held on Sunday June 12, to discuss and make proper decision on important issues of this office. In the meeting which was chaired by Mohammad Faid Hameedi Attorney General and members of High Council had participated, the terrorist attack on Logar Province Prosecution Office was condemned. The Attorney General marked this attack a wild, anti-human crime and war crime attack and asked security officials and leadership of Afghanistan Government to tightly protect the life and security of prosecution offices.
The High Council assigned a delegation to investigate and report on circumstances of this terrorist attack. This delegation is also responsible to ask questions from local authorities that besides the previous threats against prosecution office what other necessary measures have been made to protect their lives and why this attack was not prevented.
In other part of the AGO High Council Meeting, Media representatives were invited to share their concerns and suggestions in order to reform and enhance the communication and relationship among AGO and the people.
	
Mohammad Farid Hameedi expressed his condolence about Zabihullah’s martyrdom with the media family and asked the media units to cooperate with AGO on reforming and ensuring more justice in Afghanistan.
Attorney General mentioned that AGO initiates to invite representatives of different sectors to every AGO High Council meeting in order to exchange concerns, challenges and suggestions. The media representatives were the first team visiting AGO high Council meeting.
Sediqullah Tawhidi on behalf of media said: this innovation of AGO is a good start for proximity of media and people with the AGO. Mr. Tawhidi mentioned that continuous work and positive performance can change people’s views about AGO and result full public trust. He said: media will support AGO.
In the other part of this meeting, recruitment of under-aged soldiers issue was discussed and security officials were asked to seriously prevent such recruitments.
Many more issues were discussed and the proper decisions were made in the AGO High Council Meeting.
