Changes and Reclassifications at Attorney General's Office (AGO), to Establish Fair Administration and Improve Affairs
AGO appointed 11 individuals based on the AGO proposal and the approval of the Presidential Decree Nos. 277, 281 and 290 as new directors at the AGO central and provincial offices.

Deputy Attorney General (DAG) for Finance and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Wahiduddin Arghon and Directors from AGO different sections participated at the program conducted for this purpose. Mr. Wahiduddin Arghon called the changes and reclassifications a principle in organizations and added that this was done to provide better services. Mr. Arghon called the new directors to review the work process of the office. Mr. Arghon added that: “with the coming of AGO new leadership, effective steps have been taken in combating corruption, reforms, Rule of Law and expanding justice.

Therefore, based on the presidential decree 277, Mr. Sayed Farid Hasanyar, Finance and Administrative Director, appointed in grade A, as General Director of Finance and Administrative. Also, based on presidential decree 290, Mr. Mohammad Asif Fayaz, AG advisor for International affairs, was appointed in grade B, as Services Director.
Based on presidential decree 281, Mr. Sayed Ahmad Shah appointed as Central Public Security Prosecution Director, Mr. Arash as Kabul Appellate Prosecution Director, Mr. Mohammad Monir Morowat as General Director of Studies and Scrutiny.

Also based on the above-mentioned decree, Mr. Gul Ahmad Aloko was appointed as Maidan Wardak Appellate Prosecution Director, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal as Panjsher Appellate Prosecution Director, Abdul Basir Khaled as AG administration office Advisor for International Affairs, Mr. Lutfullah as Nooristan Appellate Prosecution Director.
On the other hand, based on the same decree, Mr. Najibullah was appointed as Zabul Appellate Prosecution Director and Mohammad Omar, formerly general criminal investigation prosecutor in Logar Province, appointed as Logar Appellate Prosecution Director.
Meanwhile, Mr. Abdul Basir Khaled, who spoke on behalf of the new directors, thanked the AGO leadership for trusting on them. According to him, “currently the people view changed positively towards AGO in the center and provinces and they share their problems with the employees of AGO”.
He added: “AGO is a public administration, and deals with the people’s problems and defend the public interest”.
However, there has already been some changes at the AGO, through which several new directors were appointed in the central departments and provincial appellate prosecution directorates.
