AGO Investigated 1210 Cases during Last 3 Months

Based on a report from Deputy Attorney General in Military Affairs, during the second quarter of the fiscal solar year 1398, they had investigated 1210 criminal cases.

The report says, some 608 cases has been referred to Primary Court after completing their lawsuit, among them final decision has been taken for 225 cases and 82 of them has been passed through Appeal Court.

The report states that 139 cases has been referred to various agencies and some 51 cases has been dismissed back to their agencies because of some deficiencies, and 95 cases has been kept because of lack of prove and evidence.

These cases were included as the following, 65 cases of crimes against individual, 16 cases of fraud, fabrication, tricking, bribery, illegal extortion and embezzlement and also 15 cases of crimes against internal and external security. 

According to the statistics, amount of 583139 AFN has been deposited in government account which were collected from cash penalty, embezzlement, drugs and paying of fifty percent of salary of those military employees who were engaged in these cases.
