Building for Daikundi Prosecution Office Officially Inaugurated

This building has 28 working offices, 13 bathrooms, a hall conference, a dining room and a reception for the visitor which has the facilities of an electric system, heating system and other equipment on three floors very concretely with a total cost of 41 million 410 thousand AFN from the development budget of the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
In a ceremony held for this reason on 16th of November 2019 at the conference hall of Daikundi province, Sarwar Danish, 2nd vice president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Minister of Higher Education, Minister of Economy, Minister of Information and Culture, Waheduddin Arghoun deputy of AGO, directors of IDLG, deputy ministers for Telecommunication and Information Technology, MAIL, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Public Health, Civil Aviation Agency, Indian ambassador to Afghanistan, Member of Parliament and a large number of representatives from various governmental entities were present.
During the inauguration of the Daikundi Prosecution Office building, the vice president said that despite the continuation of war, violence and other problems and challenges in Afghanistan, the process of implementation of development projects is normally progressing. Which itself shows that the government projects are working regularly because of the continuous endeavors of the government for providing facilities to the citizens and their access to public services.
Mr. Danish emphasized on continuing balanced development in Daikundi province and central areas of Hazarajat in his speech and added, “Daikundi is a newly established province and during this 15 years, huge infrastructural projects have been accomplished and such attention will ensure social justice and balanced development in all 34 provinces, which is the fundamental right of all Afghans. "
In another part of this ceremony, Wahiduddin Arghoun, the deputy of the AGO in administrative and financial affairs said that with utilizing this building, people’s access to justice in Daikundi will be increased and as a result, good governance will be put in practice.
Mr. Arghoun added, by completing this building, while preserving the human rights of staff and clients, the administrative work process will be accelerated, creating a sense of order in the department and providing accountability and transparency.
According to Mr. Arghoun, the opening of the building will also speed up the process of prosecution of criminal cases. He urged provincial officials to pay close attention to the maintenance and care of the repair.
It is worth mentioning that during this current year, the Prosecution Office building of Laghman and Kapisa has been inaugurated and it is planned that the building of Prosecution Office for Nooristan and Khost will also be inaugurated in the near future.
