Mahsa’s Killers Sentenced to 30 years in Prison

The public trial of Mahsa’s abductors and killers, each one Sajad Agha son of Sayad Aqa and Rohullah son of Noor Aqa, was held today, 26th of May in Kabul.

 The Judicial Panel from Criminal Court against Internal and External Security of the Preliminary Court, second district of Kabul city, during a public hearing, sentenced Sajad Agha and Rohullah according to Articles 598, 548 and 114 and by observing the Articles 218 and 219 of Penalty Code, to 30 years of imprisonment.

Based on the verdict of the Judicial Panel and according to Article 182 of the Penalty Code, three cell phone obtained from the defendants, were confiscated.

The Judicial Panel said that this is not the final penalty and both sides can appeal on a specified time.
