Panel Assigned to Investigate Alleged Rape Case on a Midwife

The Attorney General Office (AGO) of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has assigned the delegation to investigate the alleged rape case for 9 suspects over a midwife in Roy Do Aab district of Samangan province.
The delegation is sent to Samangan Province to investigate the case accurately, multilateral and impartially.
In connection with this case, 9 people were arrested, of which four were underage and are keeping in the reservation and five others are detained.
Despite, the Samangan Prosecutor’s Office has also started their investigations, the Attorney General's leadership has sent the delegation to the province to cooperate with the Samangan Prosecutor’s Office to investigate this case seriously.
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan assures that the case is being seriously, impartially and comprehensively investigated in light of the Provisions of the Law of the country and after completing the investigation, the findings of the delegation will be shared with the people of Afghanistan
