Badghis Mayor Discharged by the Appellate Court of the ACJC

Abdul Qadi Kamran, son of Abdul Ghani, Mayor of Badghis province convicted by the Appellate Court of the Anti-Corruption and Justice Center (ACJC) on the charge of falsification, betrayal and misusing of power on 11th of December 2019 in a public hearing.

The Judicial Board of this hearing discharged Abdul Qadir Kamran based on Article 5 and 235 of Criminal Processing Law and Article 5 of the Penalty Code.

It is worth mentioning, that Abdul Qadir Kamran was convicted on 26th of October 2019 by the Primary Court of the ACJC on the charge of betrayal and seven cases of misusing power and was discharged by the primary court.
