Cases of 31 Suspects for Drug Trafficking Completed by AGO

The General Directorate of Special Attorney Office for Counter Narcotics has received and investigated 31 cases of drugs trafficking crimes during the last week of this month.

In these cases, 38 individuals were suspicious and based on the report, this Directory has submitted the cases to the court after completing the investigation, filing the lawsuit and mentioning the reasons that prove the crime based on evidence.

The report also stated that it has sent 19 cases with 31 suspicious individual to the Primary Court, three cases to the Special Appeal Court of the Counter Narcotics and nine other cases to the National Security Court of the Supreme Court.

Additionally, the General Directorate of Special Attorney Office for Counter Narcotics has monitored from the process of description, weighting and taking sample of 16 various types of drug trafficking cases during this period.
